The story
My daughter told this story out loud from start to finish, and she told it the way she speaks, so this is the first book in the collection written in flowing prose instead of rhyme. A family goes camping in the forest, and by midnight there are monsters sniffing the marshmallows, a way out that is not what it seems, and a mysterious black bag that saves the night. Her monsters are defeated by tickling their feet and tying their hairy toes in knots, which tells you everything about how her mind works.
